Concrete: the conversion of square meters to cubic meters

Perimeter (Surface) concrete slab = length x width in meters
Volume concrete slab = (length x width) x thickness chosen for your slab (centimeters to be converted to meters)
The amount of concrete to be manufactured will directly depend on the nature of the concrete slab to be poured. If you pour a concrete slab indoors , the thickness of your concrete slab should be at least 12 centimeters. You will usually have to disburse 20 centimeters.
For an outdoor concrete slab , it is advisable to opt for a larger thickness. Disbursement can be up to 40 centimetres for a terrace, with a slab thickness of at least 15 centimetres.
Do not forget to convert centimeters thickness in meters . 15 centimeters are 0.15 m. For a terrace of 6 meters by 4 meters with 15 centimeters thick, so you will need:
6 x 4 = 24 m²
24 m² x 0.15 m = 3.6 cubic meters of concrete to be prepared.

Dosing for making concrete

- 1 volume of water.
